The members of The Northend Bass Club would like to dedicate their 2010 Bass Season to the memory of a
young man who's enthusiasm for fishing we all enjoyed and we will miss greatly -
Spenser Ray Millard
In Memory Of
Spenser Ray Millard
Spenser Ray MILLARD Born in Ballard, Washington on May 9, 1990 to Dennis and Debbie Millard. Passed
away tragically on April 4, 2010 in Ballard, Washington. Spenser was the fourth generation to graduate from
Ballard High and was very proud of his Ballard roots. In his early years he played baseball, basketball, and
Ballard Jr. Football. In his high school years he lettered in football and track & field, and was an assistant
coach for Ballard Jr. Football. He was also involved with the Ballard Maritime Academy and Young Life.
Spenser spent his spring break in Mexico with Young Life building a school for children. After High School he
attended Shoreline Community College, but decided his true passion was to work for the family business.
Spenser always thought of others, he was kind hearted, compassionate, gentle, made you laugh until you cried,
generous, and was full of life. He enjoyed skiing, fishing, boating, being with friends, working on his cars, and
spending time at the cabin (especially on 4th of July); but most of all, his family was extremely important to
him. Spenser is survived by his parents, Dennis and Debbie Millard, his brother, Brandon, his dog Chloe, great
grandparents, Bert and Marjorie Millard, grandparents Warren and Diana Aakervik, Gary and Diane Millard,
Gene and Leah Richardson, Uncles Don (Cathi) Aakervik and Brad Millard, Aunts Sarah (Paul) Gould and
Holly Millard, Cousins Evan and Connor Aakervik and Lily and Lauren Gould and numerous extended family
and friends.  Donations may be made to the Ballard High School Foundation in Memory of Spenser Millard
earmarked for the Maritime Academy, or The American Cancer Society.
